Wow, the day is already here.
It’s hard to believe that 6 short months ago the original organizing committee met each other for the first time. I don’t think that any of us could forget sitting around the table at beautiful Christina Lake, warily eye-balling each other as we individually forecasted what being put into this team would mean for us as individuals.
Looking back, it’s amazing to remember the immediate synergy that the group experienced, snowballing off of each other’s shared passion for this amazing community that we live in. But I don’t know if any of us could foresee what we’re about to see tomorrow.
So many thank you’s need to be said…and they will be!
One of the amazing individuals that has brought her expertise to the team said something tonight, she said “everything within your control, has been controlled…the rest is out of your hands, so just enjoy it.”
So we are going to enjoy it. We hope you do too – see you soon!
